Our goal is to make coming to Freedom City Church as approachable and comfortable as possible. You should come dressed how you are comfortable and expect to see a diverse group of people who come from all backgrounds worshipping.
Our worship service begins at 10am each Sunday at Southwest Guilford High School in the main auditorium. Starting at 9:30am, we have Coffee and Connections in the main lobby where there is an opportunity to grab a free cup of coffee and some pastries and connect with leaders and others from the Freedom City Church family.
Parking and entrance
There is plenty of parking at the front entrance of the school. Follow the signs and enter in the front doors into the main lobby where you will be greeted by one of our First Impressions team.
Families are welcome to worship together in the auditorium—we love having kids in the service!"
The worship experience
The worship service starts right at 10am in the auditorium. Typically, we will have 4 worship songs lead by our worship team. The style is modern, contemporary worship music. We encourage everyone to participate in the worship how they are comfortable. We believe there is power and strength in community! Lyrics to the worship songs are typically projected on a large screen to encourage all to participate in our worship.
Immediately following the worship song set, one of our pastors will deliver a sermon. We strive to have impactful, relavent, and LOVING preaching at Freedom City Church. After approximately 30-40 minutes, we typically have a time of prayer for anyone who wants to respond to the word. There is always someone from the ministry team that is eager and available to pray with you at Freedom City!
